Abstract:Migraine is a common chronic disease in the department of neurology, the incidence of which is increasing year by year. Professor Qin Xiude has achieved good results in the clinical diagnosis and treatment of migraine with the theory of traditional Chinese medicine. According to the clinical characteristics of migraine, combined with his own clinical experience, Professor Qin Xiude believes that migraine is closely related to pathological constitution, its core disease is in the liver, can extend to the spleen and kidney, the pathogenesis is yin deficiency and yang depression, phlegm and blood stasis hiding collaterals, the main treatment is to nourish yin, relieve depression, treat both phlegm and blood stasis. During the attack period of migraine, Professor Qin focuses on the treatment of liver differentiation, dividing which into four syndromes in terms of emphasis: liver-qi stagnation, stagnant heat in the liver meridian, wind-yang upward disturbance, and liver blood deficiency, and selects the specific prescription in terms of specific syndrome, while not forgetting other organs, with the addition and subtraction according to the symptoms; in the stable stage, attention should be paid to regulating the pathological constitution mildly. This paper explores and summarizes the clinical academic experience of Professor Qin Xiude in the diagnosis and treatment of migraine in order to better serve the clinic. Case one is supported for proof.
