Application effect of graded pain nursing in patients with acute pancreatitis treated with raw rhubarb enema

Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of graded pain nursing in patients with acute pancreatitis treated with raw rhubarb enema. Methods A total of 92 patients with acute pancreatitis admitted to the Department of Spleen and Stomach Diseases, Rugao Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Jiangsu Province from January 2019 to January 2022 were selected as the study objects, according to random number table method, they were divided into reference group and intervention group, with 46 cases in each group. Both groups were given raw rhubarb enema treatment, the reference group was given routine rehabilitation nursing measures, and the intervention group was given graded pain nursing measures on the basis of the reference group, after one day of admission and seven days of intervention, the changes of mental resilience, gastrointestinal function recovery and complications were compared between the two groups. Results After seven days of intervention, the scores of strength, optimism, resilience, and other psychological resilience in the two groups were higher than those before intervention, and those of the intervention group were higher than those of the reference group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05); the time of abdominal distension, abdominal pain, exhaust gas recovery, bowel sound recovery, and defecation in the intervention group were shorter than those in the reference group, the differences were statistically significant; the total complication rate in the intervention group was lower than that in the reference group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion The implementation of graded pain nursing measures in patients with acute pancreatitis treated with raw rhubarb enema is conducive to improving patients’ psychological anti-pressure ability, improving gastrointestinal functional indexes and reducing the incidence of complications.
