Abstract:Objective To analyze the medication rules of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of hepatolenticular degeneration based on data mining. Methods Clinical research literature on traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of hepatolenticular degeneration collected from CNKI, Wanfang Data, VIP, PubMed, Cochrane Library, and EMBase database from establishment to July 2022 were searched, and a Chinese materia medica prescription database was established. The method of frequency analysis, association rules, cluster analysis, and complex network analysis was used for mining. Results A total of 78 effective prescriptions were included, involving 133 kinds of Chinese materia medica, and the single herb with the highest frequency was Rhei Radix Et Rhizoma. The drug nature was mainly cold and warm, the drug flavour was mainly bitter and sweet, and the channel tropism was mainly liver and spleen channels. The top three drugs in terms of efficacy frequency were promoting blood circulation for removing blood stasis drug, tonifying deficiency drug, and clearing heat drug. Rhei Radix Et Rhizoma and Coptidis Rhizoma were used most in the combination of drugs. Six new formulas were obtained by cluster analysis. The results of complex network analysis showed that the core nodes of the network were Rhei Radix Et Rhizoma, Curcumae Radix, Dioscoreae Spongiosae Rhizoma, Curcumae Rhizoma, Alismatis Rhizoma, Curcumae Longae Rhizoma, Lysimachiae Herba, Salviae Miltiorrhizae Radix Et Rhizoma, Coptidis Rhizoma, Spatholobi Caulis, and Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium. Conclusion The main pathogenesis of hepatolenticular degeneration is manifestation deficiency and root excess, intermingled deficiency and excess with traditional Chinese medicine, such as promoting blood circulation for removing blood stasis, clearing heat, promoting diuresis and diffusing dampness, purging and so on. The patients with intermingled deficiency and excess with traditional Chinese medicine can also supplement deficiency to provide diagnosis and treatment ideas for hepatolenticular degeneration.
