Abstract:Traditional Chinese medicine translation talents are the core element of traditional Chinese medicine translation and dissemination activities, but the current talent cultivation and reserve are not directly proportional to the scale and speed of China’s traditional Chinese medicine “going global”. This article uses the SWOT analysis tool to explore the internal and external factors that affect the cultivation of Chinese medicine translation talents in China, and propose to serve the needs of the country and increase the intensity and scale of talent cultivation, to optimize the curriculum system and reform the talent cultivation mode of integrating industry and education, to promote the development of interdisciplinary Chinese medicine translation according to the characteristics of the universities, and to form a two-way interactive and collaborative linkage effect by professional integration and employment. This provides a reference for the systematic cultivation and large-scale reserve of traditional Chinese medicine translation talents.
