Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of mind mapping-based health education on the cooperation and image quality of patients with fluorescein fundus angiography(FFA). Methods A total of 110 patients who underwent FFA in the Department of Ophthalmology of Xuanwu Hospital of Capital Medical University were selected, and they were divided into control group and observation group according to random number table method from January to May 2022, with 55 patients in each group. The conventional health education was used in the control group, and the mind mapping health education mode was used in the observation group on the basis of the control group, the degree of knowledge, cooperation, and eye image quality of the two groups were compared. Results After intervention, the scores of body preparation, eye preparation, medication guidance, diet guidance, body position guidance, and knowledge mastery of precautions in both groups were higher than those before intervention, and the observation group was higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05); the degree of cooperation of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); the eye image quality of the observation group was better than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Mind mapping-based health education given to patients during FFA is able to effectively help patients improve their perception of relevant knowledge, which in turn improving their cooperation in examination, and contributing to better fundus image quality in the examination.
