Abstract:Objective To study the effect of graded nutritional intervention based on health quotient assessment on nutritional parameters and phosphorus and calcium compliance rate of patients with end stage renal disease (ESRD) undergoing maintenance hemodialysis. Methods Eighty ESRD patients with maintenance hemodialysis admitted to Bozhou People’s Hospital, Anhui Province from January 2019 to March 2022 were selected as the study subjects. According to random number table method, the subjects were divided into routine group and health quotient nursing group, with 40 cases in each group. The routine group took the routine maintenance hemodialysis nursing mode, and the health quotient nursing group took the graded nutrition management intervention based on the routine group. Nutritional parameters, serum phosphorus, and serum calcium levels were compared between the two groups before and after intervention, and the compliance rate of serum phosphorus and serum calcium after intervention was observed. Results After the intervention, the nutritional risk score of the two groups was lower than that before the intervention, the total protein, hemoglobin, and albumin levels were higher than those before the intervention, and the nutritional risk score of the health quotient nursing group was lower than that of the routine group, and the total protein, hemoglobin, and albumin levels were higher than those of the routine group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). After intervention, the blood phosphorus and calcium levels in the two groups were lower than those before intervention, and those in the health quotient nursing group were lower than those in the routine group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The compliance rate of serum calcium and phosphorus in the health quotient nursing group was higher than that in the routine group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The graded nutritional intervention based on health quotient assessment in ESRD maintenance hemodialysis patients can effectively improve the nutritional status and blood calcium metabolism of patients.
