Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical characteristics and electrocardiogram features of De Winter syndrome without dynamic evolution. Methods A total of 24 cases of De Winter syndrome without dynamic evolution who were admitted to Cangzhou People’s Hospital, Hebei Province (“our hospital” for short) from January 2018 to January 2022 were selected as observation group, 95 cases of non-ST elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI) who previously criminal vessels were left anterior descending branch treated at the same time in our hospital were selected as control group. The laboratory monitoring indicators of two groups were compared, the electrocardiogram characteristics of observation group were observed and analyzed. Results There were no significant differences in total cholesterol, triglyceride, low density lipoprotein cholesterol, fasting blood glucose, creatinine, and the concentrations of potassium between two groups (P>0.05). In observation group, the average J-point depression of thoracic guide was (2.67±1.52) mm, and the average T-wave amplitude of thoracic guide was (10.92±3.75) mm. A total of 14 cases (58.33%) had aVR lead elevation; 17 cases (70.83%) had low lead Ⅱ; 13 cases (54.17%) had low lead Ⅲ; 16 cases (66.67%) had low lead aVF. Electrocardiogram changes could be divided into two categories: one was no obvious change from beginning to end; the other was changed, but most of them change into T-wave flat or normal electrocardiogram. Conclusion The clinical characteristics of De Winter syndrome without dynamic evolution are basically equivalent to those of NSTEMI, and the electrocardiogram characteristics were basically the same as those of classic De Winter syndrome. Most patients returned to normal after surgery, and some cases remained unchanged.
