Application of narrative medicine in acupuncture anel moxibustion treatment of allergic diseases

Abstract:The efficacy of acupuncture anel moxibustion on allergic diseases is gradually being recognized, and these diseases often have both physical and psychological symptoms, so it is worthwhile to seek more effective acupuncture treatment. Narrative medicine is a medical model that pays more attention to humanistic care, and the idea of “spirit-regulation” embodied in the process of clinical diagnosis and treatment of acupuncture anel moxibustion is related to the core of narrative medicine, namely “empathy” and “reflection”. The application of narrative medicine to acupuncture anel moxibustion treatment of allergic diseases can improve patient compliance through “empathy”, optimize the treatment plan through “reflection”, and build a doctor-patient community by cultivating the narrative ability of the practitioner, so as to better solve the patient’s pain. In this way, the application of narrative medicine with clinical characteristics of acupuncture anel moxibustion is promoted, the clinical efficacy is comprehensively improved, the clinical path of narrative medicine is further enriched, and the traditional Chinese medicine culture would be better inherited and developed.
