Abstract With the great change of modern informatization, the cultivation methods and modes of traditional Chinese medicine talents are in urgent need of keeping pace with the times. Modern teaching concepts and methods must be introduced into the classroom and teaching process to adapt to the learning concepts of students in the new era and meet the needs of social and economic development. Mind mapping as a new form of learning has been widely used, especially combined with the use of Internet technology, so that its role to a higher level. In this paper, combined with the classroom teaching practice of natural pharmaceutical chemistry, the application characteristics of mind mapping in the pharmaceutical major of natural pharmaceutical chemistry are systematically summarized, a relatively complete and mature teaching mode and method are formed, and a mind mapping knowledge system is established to improve students’ autonomous learning ability as the main line. It is hoped to improve the ability of students majoring in pharmacy to study autonomously and cultivate more high-quality pharmaceutical talents for the society to serve the health of society and human beings.
