| Application of internet plus blood glucose management mode in the education and management of diabetic foot patients |

Abstract Objective To explore the effect of Internet plus blood glucose management mode in the education and management of Wanger 0-grade diabetic foot patients. Methods A total of 150 diabetic foot patients of Wagner 0-grade who were hospitalized in the Department of Vascular Surgery, Beijing Luhe Hospital, Capital Medical University from January to December 2017, were divided into two groups using random number table method, including 100 cases in the intervention group and 95 cases in the control group. The control group was used conventional blood glucose management mode, and the intervention group was used the Internet plus blood glucose management mode. The Hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c), body mass index (BMI), diabetes self-management behavior ability score, average hospital stay and hospital satisfaction of patients before intervention and 12 months after intervention were compared between two groups. Results After the intervention for 12 months, the HbA1c and BMI of the two groups were lower than those before the intervention, while the intervention group was lower than the control group, and the differences were highly statistically significant (P ＜ 0.01); the scores of each dimension of self-management behavior were better than those before the intervention, while the intervention group was better than the control group, and the differences were highly statistically significant (P ＜ 0.01); the average hospital stay of the intervention group was shorter than that of the control group, while the discharge satisfaction level was higher than that of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05). Conclusion The Internet plus blood glucose management model extends the management of diabetic foot patients, and improves the patient′s self-behavior management ability and satisfaction with medical treatment.
