| Effect of traditional Chinese medicine combined with emotional therapy on patients with threatened abortion after in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer |

Abstract Objective To discuss the effect of traditional Chinese medicine combined with emotional therapy on patients with early threatened abortion after in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer (IVF-ET) with kidney deficiency. Methods From October 2017 to July 2019, 90 patients with early threatened abortion and kidney deficiency treated with IVF-ET in Shenzhen Maternity & Child Healthcare Hospital Affiliated to Southern Medical University were randomly divided into control group and treatment group by random number table method, with 45 cases in each group. Control group was given luteal support and oral treatment of traditional Chinese medicine. Treatment group added emotional therapy on the basis of control group. The anxiety self-rating scale (SAS) score, Pittsburgh sleep quality index scale (PSQI) score, and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score were compared between two groups before and after treatment. The value changes of serum human chorionic gonadotropin (β-HCG), estradiol (E2) and progesterone (P) before and after treatment, as well as clinical efficacy of two groups were compared. Results After treatment, the scores of SAS, PSQI and traditional Chinese medicine syndromes in two groups were lower than those before treatment (P < 0.05), and those in treatment group were lower than those in control group (P < 0.05). The levels of serum β-HCG and E2 in two groups after treatment were higher than those before treatment (P < 0.05), and those in treatment group were higher than those in control group (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in P level between two groups before and after treatment (P > 0.05). Total clinical effective rate of treatment group was higher than that of control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion Traditional Chinese medicine combined with emotional therapy can alleviate the anxiety degree of patients with early threatened abortion and prevent fetal growth after IVF-ET with kidney deficiency, improve the sleep quality and the effect of embryo preservation.
