Review of relevant molecular mechanism of lymphatic metastasis in gallbladder cancer |

Abstract Gallbladder cancer is a common clinical malignant tumor of the biliary system with a high degree of malignancy. For most patients, symptoms are not typical in early stage and the diagnosis has been in the late stage. So radical resection is always needed. However, the postoperative high recurrence rate still remains. Factors influencing the prognosis of surgery for gallbladder cancer include the depth of invasion, histological grade, lymphatic and peripheral nerve invasion and lymph node metastasis. Though lymphatic metastasis is an important factor which affects the prognosis of gallbladder cancer, the molecular mechanism is still unclear. Therefore, it is necessary to clinically analyze the mechanism of lymphatic metastasis in gallbladder cancer. This paper reviews the current situation of molecular mechanism on lymphatic metastasis of gallbladder cancer at home and abroad in order to provide reference for relevant practice and research.
