| Effect of blood purification in poisoned children |

Abstract Objective To analyze and summarize the effect of 15 poisoned children receiving blood purification treatment in Kunming children′s Hospital ("our hospital" for short). Methods The clinical data of 15 children treated with concurrent blood purification due to poisoning admitted to our hospital from May 1, 2018 to April 30, 2019 was analyzed retrospectively. Clinical data including blood purification methods, adverse reactions and treatment outcomes. Results Thirteen children recovered, two improved, and no death. Compared with before treatment, the indexes of alanine transaminase, alpaca transaminase, creatine kinase isoenzyme, troposin and urea were decreased after treatment, there were statistically significant differences (P ＜ 0.05). The length of hospitalization ranged from 7 to 19 days, and the average length of stay was (9.5±2.3) d. Conclusion Blood purification is an effective method for the treatment of poisoned children. Which is worthy of active promotion in the field of pediatrics, so as to improve the cure rate, survival rate and prognosis of children with poisoning.
