Abstract The employment of college students are the focus of social attention, while the self-efficacy of career decision-making affects the employment of college students, at the same time it has an important impact on the career choice behavior and career development of nursing students. This article summarizes the concepts and measurement tools of professional decision-making self-efficacy, and reviews the characteristics of self-efficacy in career decision-making for this group of nursing students and related researches such as academic self-efficacy, career development, social support, clinical practice environment and other related studies, while puts forward the existing problems, aiming to provide a reference for nursing educators to carry out targeted interventions and reasonable career choices for nursing students.
