| Research on the image of traditional Chinese medicine science and technology based on co-word analysis |

Abstract Objective To analyze the core journal papers in the field of traditional Chinese medicine by using co-ward analysis and cluster analysis, so as to construct the secondary dimension of the image of traditional Chinese medicine science and technology. Methods The high frequency keywords of 15 333 papers related to traditional Chinese medicine were analyzed by co-ward analysis and cluster analysis. Results Fifty-nine high-frequency keywords could be divided into basic research of traditional Chinese medicine, clinical research of traditional Chinese medicine, inheritance and application of traditional Chinese medicine, development and application of traditional Chinese medicine. The first two categories belong to the exploration and cognition of traditional Chinese medicine, the latter two belong to the achievement and application of modernization of traditional Chinese medicine. Conclusion The secondary dimension of the image of Chinese medicine science and technology are constructed by analyzing the results, which is the image of scientific research, the image of transformation of achievements and the image of contribution of science and technology
