| Research Progress of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of choledocholithiasis |

Abstract Choledocholithiasis, as a frequently-occurring clinical disease, has been paid more and more attention. How to better play the role of traditional Chinese medicine treatment is also constantly discussed for us. This paper aims to summarize the traditional Chinese medicine understanding of choledocholithiasis, the clinical observation of traditional Chinese medicine treatment of this disease, animal experiments, and the selection of traditional Chinese medicine treatment plans for stones of different sizes. According to the current research direction, this paper puts forward the treatment direction that can be worked on in the future and states its possibility, so that it can serve the clinic.
