Abstract This paper introduces the basic concepts, evidence classification and implementation methods of evidence-based pharmacy, and elaborates its application value in clinical pharmacy, including clinical drug intervention, adverse drug reaction monitoring, pharmacy counseling service and pharmacoeconomics. The evidence-based pharmacy thought can break through the limitations of traditional pharmacy methods, optimize the pharmacy practice, solve problems of pharmacy more objectively and scientifically, which is the inevitable trend of the future development of pharmacy. The purpose of this paper is to provide a reference and guidance for the clinical pharmacists to better understand and master the basic ideas and methods of evidence-based pharmacy.
