慢性鼻-鼻窦炎鼻息肉患者内镜手术前后VEGF、Eotaxin、黏蛋白MUC5AC表达的临床意义

Abstract Objective To investigate the level change and clinical significance of the expressions of eosinophils chemokines (Eotaxin), mucin MUC5AC and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in patients with chronic rhinosinusitis and nasal polyps before and after endoscopic surgery. Methods From February 2013 to December 2016 in Shanghai Fengxian District Central Hospital, the 62 cases with chronic sinusitis and nasal polyps treated with endoscopic surgery were selected as the observation group, and 62 cases of hospitalized patients with deviation of nasal septum treated with septum rectifying operntion were selected as the control group. The HE staining result, the infiltration of eosinophils, the expressions of Eotaxin, mucin MUC5AC and VEGF were observed and compared between the two groups before and after operation. Results The eosinophil count in the observation group was significantly less than that before operation, and the difference was statistically significant (P ＜ 0.01). Compared with the control group, the eosinophil count was higher in the observation group before and after operation, and the difference was statistically significant (P ＜ 0.01). The expression percentage of Eotaxin, mucin MUC5AC and VEGF was significantly lower in the observation group than those before operation, and the differences were statistically significant (P ＜ 0.01). Compared with the control group, the percentages of Eotaxin, mucin, MUC5AC and VEGF expression were higher in the observation group before and after the operation, and the differences were statistically significant (P ＜ 0.01). Conclusion The Eotaxin, mucin, MUC5AC and VEGF in the chronic rhinosinusitis and nasal polyps patient are over expressed, and they are closely related to the changes of disease condition.
