| Effect of endoscopic ketoconazole sliver combined with auditory canal irrigation on the otitis externa mycotic |

Abstract Objective To observe the effect of endoscopic ketoconazole sliver combined with auditory canal irrigation on otitis externa mycotic. Methods 126 patients with otitis external mycotic were consecutively collected in the General Hospital of the PLA Rocket Force from May 2015 to May 2017. They were divided into two groups by random number table, with 64 cases in each goup. The patients in the control group were treated by endoscopic eloson sliver treatment for 7 days, and the patients in the experimental group were treated by ketoconazole sliver treatment combined with endoscopic ear canal irrigation for 7 days. The effect of two groups were observed. Results In the experimental group, 54 cases were cured, 8 cases were developed, 2 cases were effective and 0 case was invalid; in the control group, 38 cases were cured, 11 cases were developed, 10 cases were effective and 5 cases were invalid. The effect of the experimental group was better than that of the control group, and the difference was highly statistically significant (P < 0.01). Conclusion Higher cure rate could be obtained with endoscopic ketoconazole sliver combined with auditory canal irrigation to otitis externa mycotic.
