Abstract He Liqun thinks that chronic kidney disease is the syndrome of deficiency and excess, mostly mixed with deficiency and excess, especially spleen and kidney deficiency, wind evil, water dampness and blood stasis. Therefore, He Liqun′s treatment of chronic kidney disease often starts with deficiency, blood stasis, dampness and wind, and formulates a series of therapeutic principles, such as invigorating kidney and spleen, dispelling wind to overcome dampness, clearing heat and eliminating dampness, activating blood circulation and removing blood stasis. At the same time, we should give consideration to dispelling evil qi and combine multiple methods to treat it according to syndrome.
