Abstract This article mainly analyzes soft science of traditional Chinese medicine research by its origin, status quo, existing problems and suggestions. As a new discipline, soft science of traditional Chinese medicine has been developing continuously in exploration. Although the progress has been made, there are still some problems such as lack of knowledge of the category and system, insufficient research attention, lack of innovation and talent. In view of these problems, we must firmly grasp the opportunities of the development of traditional Chinese medicine, study and find a solution to the problem. At the same time, we also see that these issues will also be a breakthrough in the future sustainable development of traditional research on soft science of.
