The effect of Dopamine and Dobutamine in the treatment of children with severe pneumonia and its effects on cytokines |

Abstract Objective To analyze the effect of Dopamine combined with Dobutamine in the treatment of children with severe pneumonia. Methods From January 2015 to March 2016, 94 children with severe pneumonia treated in Yantai Zhifu Hospital were selected. According to the randomized double blinded principle, they were divided into control group and observation group, with 47 cases in each group. The children in the two groups were received the same conventional treatment, and the observation group was given to Dopamine and Dobutamine based on the conventional treatment. The clinical effect and the inflammatory cytokine levels of the two groups were compared. Results After treatment, the levels of IL-6, IL-8, soluble cell adhesion molecule -1, C reactive protein and tumor necrosis factor alpha in the two groups were decreased (P < 0.05); and the inflammatory cytokine levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05). The time of symptoms and signs improved in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group (P < 0.05). The total efficiency of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion Dopamine combined with Dobutamine can reduce the of inflammatory cytokines levels, and improve the curative effect of children with severe pneumonia.
