Analysis of laboratory examination results of 79 440 people of pre-pregnancy eugenics in Nanning City

Abstract:Objective To analyze the laboratory examination results of 79 440 people of pre-pregnancy eugenics in Nanning City, and to investigate the role of pre-pregnancy eugenics health examination in pre-pregnancy eugenics health care and birth defect prevention. Methods Retrospective analysis was conducted on the laboratory examination data of 79 440 people with couples of childbearing age and some women who received the national pre-pregnancy health examination from 2012 to 2015 in Nanning City. High risk factors of pregnancy for couples who received pre-pregnancy eugenics were screen. Results Three eugenics (cytomegalovirus, rubella virus, Toxoplasma gondii) and gynaecological reproductive tract infection were the main risk factors of the participating women. The top three abnormal detection rates of the items examined by the couple were blood routine, hepatitis B three-line and liver function test. Conclusion Pre-pregnancy eugenics health examination can find out all kinds of high-risk factors in time, and promote couples of childbearing age to understand their personal health situation before pregnancy, and actively prevent the occurrence of adverse pregnancy outcome and birth defect.
