Abstract:Radiation dermatitis is one of the most common complications of breast cancer patients after radiation therapy. It has the characteristics of long-term, persistent and progressive effects. The clinical manifestations of radioactive dermatitis include erythema, desquamation, ulceration, fibrosis and necrosis. These skin reactions not only affect beauty, but also reduce the quality of life, leading to the interruption of treatment, and seriously affect the overall efficacy. This paper reviews the research progress of skin toxicity during radiotherapy for breast cancer from the aspects of classification, mechanism, grading, influencing factors, prevention and treatment.
