Analysis of effects on revolution of humanity-education teaching contents in nursing department

Abstract:Objective To analyze the real effects on humanity-education teaching contents reform in Nursing Department. Methods By reforming the humanity-Edu-1st-class contents as well as developing effective course resources of clinical medicine humanity. 76 year-2 nursing students in Hubei University of Arts and Science were randomly divided into experimental group (39 students) and control group (37 students). Contents of experimental group were nurse′s humanity and medicine humanity; control group was offered common teaching contents (nurse′s humanity). The sets of class, students′ before-and-after and total behavior assessments were compared. Results The survey results of the set of first class course of humanistic quality education in the two groups showed that, satisfaction rate of each survey dimension of the experimental group was higher than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05); the scores of each dimension of humanistic quality before and after the intervention of the two groups were compared, the scores of moral quality, cultural quality, legal quality and psychological quality of the experimental group was superior to the control group (P < 0.05); there was no statistically significant difference in aesthetic quality (P > 0.05). Conclusion Reforming teaching contents, developing course resources of clinical medicine humanity to enrich the 1st-class, can improve quality of student humanity, the teaching effect is obvious, worthy of the peer reference and promotion.
