Abstract:This article discusses syndrome and therapy of hyperhidrosis belonging to the category of antidepressant adverse reactions. The disease belongs to the categories of “drug evil” and “drug toxin” in Chinese medicine. There is a pathogenesis evolution process of “disease and depression coexisting”. Over time, it will cause damage to the spleen and stomach, exhaustion of qi and yin, and detention of heat. It has its own clinical characteristics. However, the diagnosis based on clinical manifestations is limited. In the treatment, the principle of treating both the disease and depression is put forward, and the methods of benefiting qi, nourishing yin, and clearing heat are used flexibly, and the whole process focuses on protecting the stomach, mobilizing the spleen, resolving stagnation for tranquilization. Respectively to invigorating spleen and benefiting qi, dry dampness and awaken the spleen, activating qi to resolving stagnation, nourishing heart and tranquillization with heavy prescription. Do not blindly see sweat and stop sweating, and attach medical records to confirm.
