Abstract:Objective To study the application effect of comparative teaching method in pediatric anesthesia teaching for non-pediatric anesthesiology students. Methods Sixty students from anesthesia department of many adult hospitals were selected from Anesthesia Department of Children’s Hospital Affiliated to Suzhou University from June 2018 to December 2019. They were divided into study group and control group according to the random digital table method, with 30 students in each group. Study group was given the comparative teaching method, while control group was given the traditional teaching method. The theoretical performance, skill operation level and teaching satisfaction of students of two groups were evaluated, and the scores were analyzed and compared. Results The scores of examination and teaching satisfaction in study group were significantly higher than those in control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion The comparative teaching method can significantly improve the theoretical level and clinical operation ability of non-pediatric anesthesiology students in resident standardization training, and increase the satisfaction of students with teaching, which is worthy of further research and promotion.
