Research and practice of constructing a network virtual teaching platform for oral regional anatomy to improve clinical competence of oral medical students

Abstract:The cultivation of clinical competence of talents in stomatology should be paid more attention to. Oral regional anatomy is faced with the problems of single teaching mode, limited practical operation, weak self-study consciousness and lack of network resources, which seriously affect the teaching effect. Modern network information technology is used to build network virtual teaching platform of oral regional anatomy. Relying on the diversity of contents, flexibility of forms and abundant network teaching resources on the network virtual teaching platform, the teaching of oral local anatomy is integrated and innovated from the teaching concept, teaching resources, teaching mode, teaching technology, and assessment system in order to cultivate the clinical competence of oral medicine students. After two years of practice and application in School of Stomatology, Jilin University, the cultivation quality of oral medicine students has been improved continuously, providing the experience for the future training and promotion of clinical competency of oral medicine students and making the cultivation model of oral medicine students more prospective, scientific and practical.
