Abstract：Traditional Chinese medicine culture is not only an important part of Chinese civilization, but also a deep foundation for promoting self-confidence in our culture. At present, the colleges and universities of traditional Chinese medicine not only have to teach the theory and methods of traditional Chinese medicine, but also shoulder the historical responsibility and mission of heritage and innovation of traditional Chinese medicine culture. This article sorts out the current status of the development and inheritance of traditional Chinese medicine culture and innovation in the context of the new era, tries to discuss the challenges and opportunities faced by traditional Chinese medicine culture, the factors that affect the development of traditional Chinese medicine culture innovation and the feasible methods of the current traditional Chinese medicine culture inheritance and innovation aspects. By analyzing the factors affecting its inheritance and development, this article summarizes the feasible measures to promote the development of Chinese medicine culture, with a view to providing reference for the inheritance and innovative development of Chinese medicine culture.
