Abstract：With the gradual deepening of traditional Chinese medicine′s research on the theory of collaterals, the theory of collaterals has gradually matured, and this theory has been applied to various diseases related to collaterals. Adenomyosis is one of the common clinical diseases in gynecology. The typical symptoms are menstrual disorders and dysmenorrhea. As one of the most common symptoms in gynecology, dysmenorrhea has a great impact on patients′ lives and work. This article starts from the theory of collateral disease, mainly based on the physical factors of patients with adenomyosis, combined with the female′s menstrual period and the special internal environment before and after menstruation, to explore the etiology, pathogenesis and onset characteristics of this disease, and summarize and arrange Liu Hui′s medication characteristics and treatment methods in the treatment of patients with adenomyosis, and attach a case to the test. The purpose is to improve the physical condition of such patients and improve their quality of life.
