Abstract:[Abstract] Objective To systematically estimate the effect of over-expression miR-92a in clinicopathological and prognosis of patients with colorectal cancer. Methods All available literatures were obtained from PubMed, CBM, CNKI, WanFang, and Vip database, from the building up to December 2016. Eventually, the pooled hazard ratio (HR), odds ratio (OR) and 95% confidence interval (95%CI) were evaluated by statistical software of stata 12.0. Results There were altogether 6 qualified articles with 695 patients in this Meta-analysis. The pooled analysis shows, ①which increased miR-92a levels were capable of predicting worse overall survival (HR=2.91, 95%CI: 1.16-7.28, P < 0.05) in CRC patients; ②which elevated miR-92a was distinctly associated with depth of tumor invasion (OR=0.56, 95%CI: 0.33-0.96, P < 0.05), TNM stage (OR=0.41, 95%CI: 0.24-0.71, P < 0.05), distant metastasis (OR=4.71, 95%CI: 1.74-12.69, P < 0.05), lymph node metastasis (OR=2.90, 95%CI: 1.64-5.13, P < 0.05); however, high expression of miR-92a was negatively correlated with gender and tumor differentiation, with pooled OR of 1.01 (95%CI: 0.6-1.69, P > 0.05) and 0.66 (95% CI: 0.33-1.30, P > 0.05), respectively. Conclusion Up-regulated miR-92a is able to predict survival outcomes and clinicopathologic features.
