Abstract:Objective To explore the application of intraoperative position management based on patient role experience in operating room nursing and continuous improvement of quality. Methods From January 2018 to October 2019, the operating room of the First Affiliated Hospital of Hebei North University takes nursing groups as units, thirty operating room nurses were included as study subjects, provide training on common position placement for operating room nurses, and intraoperative postural management intervention based on patient′s role experience was carried out for nurses. The patient′s role experience was carried out and the body position simulation training was carried out, and the training period was 1 month, the whole course video training content is made into teaching video. The satisfaction degree of 520 patients was investigated before and after the training, the position placement score and the method of position placement were compared before and after the training, and incidence of complications of improper position placement in the operating room were compared. Results After the training, the exposed area of operative field, respiration cyle, non-compression of blood vessels and nerves, protect for patient privacy, warmth of skin, selection of postural objects, anti-pressure ulcer measures, functional position of limbs were all higher than those before the training, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05). Patients′ satisfaction after training was higher than that before training, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). After the training, the nurses′ overall mastery rate of the operative position placement method was higher than that before the training, with statistically significant difference (P < 0.05). Conclusion The application of intraoperative position management based on the patients′ role experience in operating room nursing can improve nurses′ mastery of surgical position placement scores and methods, and improve patient satisfaction.
