Drug resistance analysis of mycobacterium tuberculosis in Yiyang region

Abstract:Objective To understand the drug resistance and drug resistance spectrum of mycobacterium tuberculosis in Yiyang region, to provide the reference for the region of tuberculosis patients to take effective prevention and control measures. Methods 854 cases of pulmonary tuberculosis patients with sputum culture specimens, and cultivation of mycobacterium tuberculosis in preliminary appraisal were collected in June 2013 to December 2016 in Yiyang Central Hospital, Affiliated Hospital of Yiyang Medical College, Yiyang Fourth People′s Hospital. Overall resistance of infected strains, resistance situation of isolated strains between different anti-tb drug, resistance situation of isolates isolated strains between different gender and age were analyzed. Results 1054 cases of tuberculosis patients, 436 cases were isolated drug-resistant bacteria, total resistance was 41.4%, including untreated patients of 106 cases (120, 30.0%), recurrent patients of 297 cases (316, 70.0%), the difference of resistance rate in patients with two types was statistically significant (P < 0.05). 10 kinds of anti-tb drug susceptibility spectrum, among them INH resistance was the highest (54.63%), RFP was second of 44.09%, the third was RFT (42.86%), PAS was lowest of 23.94%. The patients resistant rate in women was higher than that in men, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05).In the whole age composition for all resistant,66-86 age group was priority to the other, 16 and 35 was less proportion (P < 0.05). Conclusion The drug resistance situation of mycobacterium tuberculosis in Yiyang region is more serious. Percentages of tuberculosis of the region is affected by patient age, gender, etc, the clinical and relevant departments should strengthen the detection of drug-resistant bacteria.
