Abstract:In the new era, China′s medical technology is advancing by leaps and bounds. With the rapid development of China′s aging population, the incidence of chronic diseases and mental and psychological diseases has increased year by year, resulting in an increasing demand for medical services. The emergence of the “biological-psychological-social” medical model has alleviated the current tension in medical treatment in China to some extent, and the smooth implementation of the new medical model has deeper demands for communication between doctors and patients. Good doctor-patient communication can not only promote doctors to better understand the patient′s condition, improve the efficiency of diagnosis and treatment, but also reduce the incidence of injuries and doctors, and promote the harmonious development of doctors and patients. As the main body of future medicine, clinical medical students should pay attention to and multi-pronged measures to strengthen the cultivation of their doctor-patient communication ability-help them strengthen communication awareness, control their emotions, improve theoretical basic knowledge from multiple disciplines, and adopt novel the teaching method continues to simulate practice, thereby strengthening language communication skills, achieving better doctor-patient communication, and improving the current tense doctor-patient relationship.
