Abstract:Objective To investigate the application effect of comfort care in patients with laparoscopic hysteromyomectomy. Methods The clinical data of 87 patients underwent laparoscopic hysteromyomectomy admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January to November 2015 was analyzed retrospectively. According to different nursing methods, the patients were divided into control group (43 cases, routine nursing) and observation group (44 cases, comfort care). The operation indicators (operation time, postoperative leaving bed time, hospital stay), scores of anxiety and depression, incidence of postoperative complications between the two groups were compared. Results The operation time, postoperative leaving bed time and hospital stay in the observation group was all shorter than those of control group, the differences were all statistically significant (P < 0.05). After nursing, the scores of self-rating anxiety scale and self-rating depression scale in the observation group were all lower than those of control group, the differences were all statistically significant (P < 0.05). The incidence of postoperative complications in the observation group (13.64%) was lower than that of control group (30.23%), the difference was statistically significant (χ2=28.411, P < 0.05). Conclusion Comfort care can effectively shorten the operation time, postoperative leaving bed time, hospital stay, alleviate negative emotions, reduce incidence of complications, and improve the quality of nursing care.
