Abstract:Acupuncture and internal medicine of traditional Chinese medicine are both important parts of traditional Chinese medicine. Based on the theory of meridians and collaterals, acupuncture and moxibustion is characterized by differentiation and treatment of meridians. It can dredge meridians and regulate qi and blood by selecting appropriate shu points, operating measures and techniques, stimulating amount, etc. The theory of internal medicine of traditional Chinese medicine includes five elements of yin and yang, five movements and six qi, qi, blood and body fluid, etc. It has the characteristics of syndrome differentiation and treatment. Based on traditional Chinese medicine, it can play the role of strengthening the body and removing pathogenic factors and harmonizing yin and yang by applying appropriate prescription, processing and decoction. At present, the system of acupuncture and moxibustion is gradually converged in the internal medicine of traditional Chinese medicine, which mistakenly confuses syndrome differentiation with syndrome differentiation, and rigidly selects the prescription of acupuncture and moxibustion. Making clear the difference between acupuncture and internal medicine of traditional Chinese medicine, it is convenient to give full play to the thinking of acupuncture diagnosis and treatment, show the characteristics and advantages of acupuncture, and better serve the clinical diagnosis and treatment.
