Abstract:The word “poison” has a wide range of definitions in ancient Chinese medicine literature, and it refers to the property of medicine, the etiology, pathology and disease, and it can also be used as a verb or an adjective. “Poison” in tumor mainly refers to cancer poison, phlegm poison, blood stasis poison and turbid poison. In the course of traditional Chinese medicine treatment, it can be treated from the aspects of poison challenge, detoxification, detoxification and so on. Although they are all used for the treatment of poison, the direction of “poison” is different, and the methods and theories of clinical application are also different. This article will explain the understanding and application of “poison” in the treatment of tumors by traditional Chinese medicine.
