Abstract：As the rate of examination of pulmonary nodules increased recent years, the method to deal with or treat pulmonary nodules is coming to a controversial and challenging question. There is incrementally progresses in radiography and non-operative biopsy in Western medicine last several years, which provides an important reference on the differentiation of benign and malignant nodules. Meanwhile, the traditional Chinese medicine, which already has good clinical efficacy in the lung cancer prevention and treatment, is gradually beginning to treat pulmonary nodules patients, and has made good therapeutic effect. Chinese herbs can improve the organism′s microenvironment with its integrality and multi-targets features, in order to make a healthy lung microenvironment so that pulmonary nodules won′t grow. Therefore, according to the writer′s theory of resolving phlegm and softening hardness to dissipate stagnation used in Chinese herbs, plenty of pulmonary nodules patients were treated effectively. With the theory of “preventive treatment of disease” in traditional Chinese medicine, pulmonary nodules, known as precancerous lesions, if could be early detection and intervention, which can be helpful for the early prevention and treatment of lung cancer.
