Abstract:Objective To analysis the results of a randomized controlled trial of external hemorrhoidectomy combined with internal hemorrhoid bandaging in the treatment of mixed hemorrhoids by meta-analysis, and to evaluate the effects of external hemorrhoidectomy combined with internal hemorrhoid bandaging and traditional external stripping in the treatment of mixed hemorrhoids. Methods The literatures of CNKI and Wanfang database from June 1966 to June 2019 were searched. A total of 8 articles were included in this study, and the obeservation was given external hemorrhoidectomy combined with automatic elastic wire-sheathing, the control group was given traditional external strippin. The surgical effect, operation time, intraoperative blood loss, pain score at 1 d after operation and postoperative complications were compared by meta-analysis. Results Comparison of surgical effects of patients between the two groups, the difference was not statistically significant (RR = 0.00, 95%CI: -0.03, 0.03, P > 0.05). The operation time of the observation group was significantly shorter than that of the control group (MD = -7.73, 95%CI: -10.75, 4.70), while the intraoperative blood loss was less than that of the control group (MD = -13.06, 95%CI: -13.64, -12.47), and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). There were no significant differences in 1 d after surgery (MD = -0.93, 95%CI: -1.99, 0.14) and postoperative complications (RR = -0.16, 95%CI: -0.70, 0.37) of patients between the two groups (P > 0.05). Conclusion The curative effect of external hemorrhoidectomy combined with automatic elastic wire-sheathing of internal hemorrhoids is better than that of traditional external stripping, and it is worthy of clinical promotion.
