Effect of KTH integrated nursing intervention on anxiety and depression of community stroke patients

Abstract:To investigate the effect of KTH integrated nursing intervention on anxiety and depression in community stroke patients. Methods From January to December 2018, 92 cases of stroke patients in Wangfu Community, Xiangcheng City, Xiangyang City were selected as the study objects by convenient sampling method. They were divided into the observation group 47 cases and control group 45 cases by random number table method. The control group received routine nursing and health education, the observation group carried out KTH integrated nursing intervention on this basis, two weeks before and after the intervention, Zung anxiety self-rating scale (SAS) and depression self-rating scale (SDS) were used for comparison. Results There was no significant difference in SAS and SDS scores between the two groups before intervention (P > 0.05). After intervention, both groups had lower SAS and SDS scores than before intervention, and the observation group was lower than the control group, with statistically significant differences (all P < 0.01). Conclusion KTH integrated nursing intervention can significantly reduce anxiety and depression in community stroke patients.
