Abstract:Objective To export the mediating effect of self-efficacy and social support in patients with hemopoietic stem cell transplantation on optimistic tendency and psychological resilience. Methods A total of 228 hospitalized patients with hemopoietic stem cell transplantation in a top three hospital in Anhui Province were enrolled from May 2018 to May 2019 by convenient sampling. Questionnaires were surveyed using the general information questionnaire, the mental resilience scale (RS-14), the life orientation test revision (LOT-R), the general self-efficacy scale (GSES), and the multiple comprehension social support scale (PSSS), to investigate the mediating effect between self-efficacy and social support on optimism tendency and psychological resilience. While the bootstrap method were used for verification. Results The average score of psychological resilience for patients with hemopoietic stem cell transplantation was (73.04±13.41) points. Optimism tendency, self-efficacy, social support and psychological resilience were positively correlated with each other (all P < 0.01). Self-efficacy and social support have a significant mediating effect between optimism tendency and psychological resilience. Conclusion The optimistic tendency can directly affect the psychological resilience, while it can also indirectly affect psychological resilience through the mediation effect of self-efficacy and social support, and the coordinating mediating effect of self-efficacy-social support.
