Abstract:There are a large number of medical materials recorded in the excavated bamboo slips and silk medical books in the Han Dynasty, among which there are some scrotal disease vocabulary. The methods of textual research are useful to more clearly analyze the principles of Chinese medicine treatment of scrotal diseases. It is found that the use of exegesis examination on scrotal disease helps to clarify the relationship between the scrotum and testicular vocabulary, and reveals the pathogenesis and treatment principles of scrotal disease. At the same time, it is helpful to understand the evolution process and meaning of the words “nang” and “luan”, and to explore the clinical treatment methods of testicular hernia, which is of great benefit to understand scrotal diseases correctly and comprehensively.
