Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of evidence-based nursing in early clinical nursing of small amount of water after general anesthesia in children. Methods From July 2017 to January 2018, 167 cases of children undergoing general anesthesia were admitted to the Pediatric Surgery Department of the First Medical Center of the PLA General Hospital. The patients were divided into two groups according to the postoperative drinking water nursing method, in control group, 83 cases were given routine clinical nursing after general anesthesia for children (drinking water 6 h after surgery), in the experimental group, 84 cases were treated with evidence-based nursing (drinking water after awakening under general anesthesia). The effect and safety of the two groups were compared and analyzed. Results The crying rate of children in the experimental group after drinking water was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). There was no statistically significant difference in vomiting and fever rates between the experimental group and the control group within 6 h after surgery (P > 0.05). Conclusion Evidence-based nursing applied in the early clinical nursing of small amount of water after general anesthesia in children has a definite effect, which can effectively reduce the postoperative crying and other discomfort of children, further reduce the occurrence of postoperative adverse reactions, and is worthy of application and promotion in the postoperative nursing of children.
