Abstract:Objective To investigate the application of individualized dietary guidance in patients with chronic renal failure on hemodialysis. Methods The clinical data of 110 patients with chronic renal failure in Yulin Second Hospital of Shaanxi Province from May 2015 to May 2018 were analyzed. According to the random number table method, the patients were divided into two groups, the control group (50 cases) received regular dietary guidance and the observation group (60 cases) received individualized dietary guidance. The simplified table of micro-nutrition evaluation (MNA-SF), quality of life score, serum albumin (ALB), serum prealbumin (PA), creatinine (Cr), nephrotic diet compliance scale (RAAQ) and behavior scale (RABQ) were observed before and after intervention. Results There was no significant difference in MNA-SF, RAAQ and RABQ between the two groups before intervention (all P > 0.05). Comparison of quality of life score, PA and Cr between the two groups before and after intervention showed no statistically significant difference (all P > 0.05). Compared with before intervention, MNA-SF, ALB, RAAQ and RABQ in both groups were significantly improved after intervention, and MNA-SF, ALB, RAAQ and RABQ in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences (all P < 0.05). Conclusion Individualized dietary guidance in patients with chronic renal failure hemodialysis can improve their nutritional status and indicators, improve their dietary compliance, and is worthy of clinical application.
