Abstract:Objective To study the clinical effect of Modified Zhenwu Decoction in the treating chronic heart failure with syndrome of Yang deficiency leading to water flooding. Methods The clinic data of 62 patients with chronic heart failure were analysed retrospectively, that they were treated in Beijing Xiaotangshan Hospital from January 2015 to May 2017 and divided into treatment group and control group, with 31 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conventional anti-heart failure treatment, while the treatment group was treated with Modified Zhenwu Decoction on the basis of routine treatment of western medicine. They were treated for 4 weeks. The cardiac function, heart failure scores, heart color parameters and BNP level in the two groups were compared. Results After treatment, the total effective of cardiac function and improvement of heart failure symptoms in the treatment group were higher than those of the control group (P < 0.05). After treatment, the rate of ejection fraction and stroke volume in the two group were increased, and those in the treatment group were higher than those in the control group (P < 0.05). Besides, the levels of BNP in the two groups after treatment were decreased, and the level in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion Modified Zhenwu Decoction is effective in the treatment of chronic heart failure with syndrome of Yang deficiency leading to water flooding, which can improve the cardiac function and deserve clinical promotion.
