Abstract:Objective To explore the blood glucose compliance status and related risk factors in rural diabetic patients in Changchun. Methods Eight hundred and eighty type 2 diabetes mellitus patients from May 2017 to December 2018 treated in the Second Hospital of Jilin University were selected as study objectives. According to the results of glycosylated hemoglobin test, the patients were divided into two groups: blood glucose standard group and blood glucose non-standard group. Univariate analysis was used to analyze the general data of patients. Unconditional Logistic multivariate regression analysis was carried out to investigate the risk factors of blood sugar failure and establish a prediction model. Results There were significant differences in age, education level, course of disease, regularity of administration, family income per capita, retirement, complications of diabetes, treatment, blood glucose meter and body mass index between two groups (P < 0.05). Logistic regression analysis showed that long course of disease (OR = 2.504, 95%CI: 1.074-5.840), irregular administration (OR = 11.045, 95%CI: 2.367-51.550), on-the-job (OR = 1.260, 95%CI: 1.118-1.420), combined treatment (OR = 2.977, 95%CI: 2.339-3.789), obesity (OR = 3.796, 95%CI: 2.113-6.821), diabetic complications (OR = 38.900, 95%CI: 3.695-409.509) had significant differences (P < 0.05). Conclusion Long course of disease, irregular administration, on-the-job, combined treatment, obesity and diabetic complications are risk factors for diabetic patients′ unsatisfactory blood sugar. This model is expected to be used to improve the control rate of blood sugar in diabetic patients.
