Discussion on the related factors influencing the clinical therapeutic effect of infantile massage in children

Abstract:Infantile massage is an important part of traditional Chinese medicine. As a special external therapy of traditional Chinese medicine, infantile massage is widely used in the prevention and treatment of children′s diseases because of its unique advantages in the treatment of children′s health care and common clinical diseases in pediatrics. As present, in the course of clinical treatment with infantile massage, sometimes unsatisfactory clinical effects may occur, and even the therapeutic effects of different doctors on the same diseases will be quite different. This article starts with the various factors that influence the clinical therapeutic effect of infantile massage, including intervention time, indications and contraindications, syndrome differentiation, acupoint selection and prescription, manipulation, psychological state of infantile children, physician-patient relationship, daily diet, daily living and so on, and makes an in-depth analysis and elaboration, in order to provide a theoretical basis for doctors engaged in pediatric massage to better grasp the therapy, further improve the clinical efficacy, and open up the thinking of diagnosis and treatment.
