Abstract：Based on the theory of treatment based on syndrome differentiation, taking the five-phase theory and the connection of the zang-fu organs and holism as the guidance, this paper analyzes the literatures related to functional dyspepsia in recent 10 years, summarizes the etiology and pathogenesis, syndrome differentiation and therapeutic method, aiming at making up for insufficiency that the symptomatic treatment of Western medicine can not improve symptoms significantly, can not achieve radical effects, and has more adverse reactions. Chinese medicine treatment can effectively relieve the clinical symptoms of patients with functional dyspepsia, and can achieve the goal of radical treatment. The purpose of this paper is to provide reference for related researches and clinical treatment.
