A comparative study of treatment of traditional Chinese medicine and Dai medicine on apoplectic hemiplegia sequelae

Abstract:This article reviews and summarizes the treatment of apoplectic hemiplegia sequelae (Long Dai Fen Geng Heng) from the aspects of etiology and pathogenesis, external treatment, internal treatment, clinical research of Dai and etiology and pathogenesis, oral prescriptions, acupuncture, massage, fumigation, acupoints sticking, nursing of traditional Chinese medicine, and so on. This article further compares the similarities and differences and their respective characteristics between traditional Chinese medicine and Dai medicine in treating apoplectic hemiplegia sequelae. The results show that traditional Chinese medicine and Dai medicine have different treatments in apoplectic hemiplegia sequelae, but their basic theories have something in common. Therefore, this paper hopes to promote the perfect combination of the traditional Chinese medicine and Dai medicine through excavating the advantages of them and provide new ideas and methods for the treatments of apoplexy.
