Influence of nursing post management on organizational justice perception of nurses

Abstract:Objective To explore the role of nursing post management in improving nurses′ sense of organizational justice, so as to provide theoretical reference for other hospitals to carry out post management. Methods Through the establishment and implementation of the post assessment, scientific post setting, manpower allocation, salary distribution, level progression and 360 degree assessment of the post management system. From November 1, 2018 to December 31, 2018, an online questionnaire survey was conducted 510 nurses in a tertiary general hospital using the organizational justice scale. Meanwhile, the turnover rate of nurses before and after nursing post management were collected. Results Totally 510 questionnares were sent out, and 500 valid questionnares were collected, and the recovery rate was 98.04%. The organizational justice scale score of nurses was (36.73±10.32)scores. The overall situation was fair. There was no significant difference in the total score of organizational justice perception and the scores of each item among nurses of different working age, educational background, professional title and labor relations (P > 0.05). The turnover rate of nurses was gradually decreasing (P < 0.01). Conclusion The nursing post management mode is helpful to establish a fairly fair performance distribution system, improve nurses′ sense of fairness and promote the stable development of nurses.
